Scottish & Newcastle Royal Brewery required a solution to ever-increasing disposal and energy costs of their wastewater, especially one that could recognise significant savings in a small footprint. VWS carried out the design and project management of this contract.
The Paper Mill in Birmingham is the largest paper recycling facility in the Midlands, producing 200,000 tonnes per year of liner and board. VWS are providing on-site biological treatment of the papermaking wastewater. An anaerobic reactor reduces the majority of the dissolved organic load in the mill wastewater.
Fenwick signed with Veolia Water a contract for the operation and maintenance of two tunnel washers, of a drainage pits and of an industrial waste water treatment plant.
